Wedgwood Black Jasperware Box Star Shaped With Lid Aurora 1972
This is a star shaped Wedgwood, England black jasper or jasperware lidded box with applied white jasper classical figures of Aurora And The Chariot Of Dawn and cherubs or cupids on the sides in several activities made in 1972.
The box measures 1.5 inches high by 4 inches long by 3.25 inches deep.
The dramatic as well as versatile black and white jasperware star box is in excellent used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or missing pieces.
The box has many uses. A candy box, for trinkets, rings, paper clips or many more uses!
We have watched these painstaking process of making these items at the Wedgwood factory in Barlaston, England and were so impressed by the skill and time the process entailed.
