Sapphires Tanzanites 10kt Gold Estate Ring Size 5 Vintage 1970s Engagement Wedding

This is a retro ladies cross the finger 10kt yellow gold ring with 8 genuine hand prong set dark blue round full cut Sapphires and 5 genuine hand prong set square or Princess cut Tanzanites.
Each of the round Sapphires weighs 1/8 of a carat or is 12 points for a total of nearly a carat of Sapphires.
The square Tanzanites are each 1/4 of a carat or 25 points each for a total weight of 1 1/4 carats of Tanzanites, or a total for the ring of 2.25 or 2 1/4 carats of gems.
The estate ring was made in the USA during the 1970s and is in excellent used vintage condition, and has the maker's mark of EL which I have been unable to identify.
The ring is a size 5 but, as it is gold, could be easily sized by a reputable jeweler.
Sapphires are the September birthstone.
Colored stones are also fabulous as wedding rings or engagements.
