This is a sterling silver necklace consisting of an Egyptian Lotus blossom, symbol of rebirth, pendant cast in sterling silver with a sterling silver chain.

The artisan made Lotus blossom pendant measures 1.25 inch high by 1.25 inch wide and is on an 18 inch sterling silver new rope chain with lobster claw clasp.

The pendant or charm was created in 1974 exclusively for the King Tutankhamun exhibit in San Francisco at the De Young Museum by my husband in association with the exhibit.

The condition is as new and the necklace with pendant weighs 8.9 grams of silver, and both pendant and chain are marked Sterling.

The King Tut pendant shows incredible craftsmanship and the detail is fabulous.

My family bought museum stock left from the exhibit in 1975 and have added the chain.
