This is a lovely addition to the tea table. This crumber was the Victorian's answer to the dustbuster! Crumbs from the table were scraped or brushed into this crumber & all was tidy again. This piece has an ivory handle--with an age split (very normal with ivory of this age)and an engraved silverplated blade and an embossed hilt. The mark reads WW in a shield, WW in a shield again, E in a square, S in a diamond & EP in a shield. A novel item to have. |
