I don't know if you would call the pattern pressed into the bottom of this master salt a leaf or a star. This is a very old master salt. It measures 3 1/2 inches by 2 3/8 inches by 2 5/8 inches high. It is in very good condition but it does have a small shallow chip from a bottom corner measuring approximately 3/4 of an inch. You can only see it if you turn the piece over. Otherwise very good.
