This cute little match box holder dates to the 1940-1950's and is handpainted. I got it in England but it probably is from Italy. Anyway it has a very pretty gilt handpainted floral design. It measures 4 3/8 inches by 4 1/4 inches by 1 inch high. A very fun piece.
