These 4 silverplate open salts with cobalt glass liners date from the 1920-30 era and have an art deco feel. They measure 1.5 inch in diameter at the top, 1 7/8 inches in daimeter at the flared bottom and 1.5 inches high. Although bought as a set in England in March, a couple are slightly different as to engraved line decoration placement and there are different makers marks: on 2 is EP&N; A1 Sheffield; on 1 is Hornison EP&S; Sheffield; and the 4th is marked Primus IE&SS.; Three of the cobalt liners are in very good condition and the 4th has chipping to the rim (see photo) Otherwise a very good set.
