This is a fabulous sterling silver serving spoon from the Aesthetic Movement period of Victorian design that dates from 1870-1890. It measures 8.75 inches long and features an ornate molded handle and a hand engraved bowl in a typical Aesthetic Movement design. It can't make out the manufacturers mark but can read the sterling. It is a beautiful piece and just needs a bit of polish. It was black when we got it and has already had a few hours of elbow grease. An absolutely beautiful piece.
