Circa: 1910-1920s Condition: very good Size: 7 inches long
This is an old swivel tea strainer that I got in England that is made of a brass strainer bowl with an ebony wood handle attatched by a swivel to a silverplate under bowl. You turned the handle to pour tea from the pot into the cup and catch the tea leaves then swiveled it back to rest over the under bowl to catch drips. A great piece. It is marked Patented Mar. 1, 1910. It is in very good condition. A great piece. Shipping in the US by USPS priority insured is $8.50.
