This is a very attractive victorian biscuit jar or cracker jar in the handpainted imari stylethat I brought back from England recently. This biscuit jar was made in England and has the impressed under glaze mark of Octagon 24 England and then some gold numbers. The biscuit jar has a hand painted typically late victorian imari design of leaves and stylized motifs in cobalt and rust with gold accents. There is some gilt wear, some crazing and a small lid chip but the jar is really in very good condition and is a very decorative piece typical of the period and well as highly usable and collectible. Shipping in the US by USPS priority insured with tracking is $16.00.
