This is a superb 10.5 inch in diameter plate designed by Clarice Cliff in 1952 for the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II of England. It was produced by the Royal Staffordshire Ceramics of Burslem, but was created for distribution in Canada. It has an especially glamorous portrait of the young queen and a lovely border of the queen's arms and the provincial arms of Canada. There are no chips, cracks or restorations. A wonderful collector piece. Shipping in the US by usps prioeity insured with tracking is $11.40.
