This is a really neat thermometer made in England in the 1930-1940s by the Elyte Company. The thermometer (both centigrade & fahrenheit) is mounted on a leather frame that is made to fit a chrome english riding saddle chrome plated stirrup. It works well and is a real conversation piece! In gold tooled letters on the leather strap is the Elyte logo & the words Made In England. It measures 3.5 inches wide by 4 inches high and is in very good condition. It is very thin. A super piece!
