This is an enamelware bread box or bread bin manufactured in the 1950s in the USA. It measures 13.5 inches wide by 9.75 inches deep by 8 inches high. It has a lithographed design of red foliage & fruit, a hinged lid & a circle of air holes in the back. It has seen some use and is discolored throughout. There is rust on the lid & inside but no holes (except the air holes, of course). But it could probably be cleaned up & restored (I haven't touched it preferring to leave the original finish) and would be a great shabby chic or retro decorative accent & practical as well for all sorts of storage.
