This is an exquisitely beautiful victorian set of Royal Crown Derby of England with a registry mark for 1891 in the most delicate bone china. It is fluted white with gold handpainted square medallions and foliate border with heavy gold twisted rope handles and trim. The set consists of 6 cups, saucers and plates, a creamer and sugar basin, cake plate or sandwich plate and slop bowl. The slop was used to collect used tea leaves and dregs before pouring a new cup. They are all in perfect condition with no chips or cracks and this is elegance at it's best! Shipping in the US by USPS priority registered is $36.40. |
