This is a brass candle snuffer &/or wick trimmer & I brought back from England. It has handles like a pair or scissors & opens & closes to snuff or trim a candle wick. The piece is made of cast brass with a copper rivet and measures 4.5 inches long by just over 2 inches wide and is 1 inch high at the trimmer. A fun piece made in the 1910-1920s.
