| This is a wonderful silver plate egg cup set made 1880-1900. The galleried, reticulated or pierced tray stands just over 2 inches high or 7 inches including the handle by 9 inches across including the handle & stands on 4 ornate ball & paw feet. There are 6 galleried pedestal eggcups that fit on pins in the tray. One has a different base from the others, which are petaled flowers. There is a galleried large open salt on a raised center with a matching petal base. The liner is missing. It is an unmarked set. I bought it in England. It is in very good condition, except for the one different eggcup base & a repair to one end of the handle. Pure victoriana at its best! Shipping in the US by USPS priority insured with tracking is $16.00. |
