This is a lovely blue and white Delft or Delfts glazed pottery tile from Holland. The tile has a motif of a sailing ship or boat with sail up on a river or canal with windmills on the banks in a circle with typical Delft stylized floral motifs. The tile is marked with a logo, Delfts Handpainted Made In Holland, a G in a wreath & the numbers 224 9 2 2. The tile is in very good condition with only 2 very minor edge glaze chips. The original wire hanging triangle has been re affixed with duct tape, but..otherwise original, collectible and beautiful. Shipping in the US by USPS priority insured is $9.50. |
