| This is a neat Staffordshire, England bone china paperweight, vase or ornament that is a hand made bone china log shaped vase with 3 handmade flowers--a yellow rose in the middle and a pink carnation at each end. This piece was made in the 1950s in Staffordshire, England. The piece is signed but I can't tell if it's Thorley or Hammersley or another company. The arrangement measures 2 inches high by 4.5 inches long by 1.75 inches wide. We watched craftsman making these at the factory workrooms in Stoke On Trent and were amazed at the skill and time it took to make each part of these arrangements by hand from a lump of clay. Beautiful! This posy in in very good condition with no chips or cracks. Shipping in the US by USPS priority insured with tracking is $8.50. |
