| This is a wonderful piece of royal memorabilia. This is a program from the official Coronation Ball on May 12, 1937 given in New York by the British Ambassador to the US. The program measures 12 inches high and is 9 inches wide closed and is tied with a 3 color twisted silk cord. The programme has 48 pages. The last page is the genealogy of King George VI from 1066 & William the Conqueror. The program includes photos, the crown jewels, guest of honor, pageant program and interesting articles on the coronation and history of coronation elements. The condition is very good. There are a couple of dog ears & tiny tear in the parchment dust cover and a few foxing spots but very few. A wonderful royal souvenir. Shipping in the US by USPS priority insured is $7.60. |
