This is a neat large medal made to commemorate the golden jubilee in 1897 of Queen Victoria of England. The medal measures overall 3.25 inches long 1.25 inches in diameter with a tattered ribbon and pin and a profile portrait of the aging Queen Victoria near the end of her life. It is in fair condition. The ribbon is badly disintegrated and the medal has dings and rim dents. But it is is a great piece of history that is becoming difficult to find.
