This is a fabulous vintage porcelain biscuit jar or cracker jar in the Ye Olde Inne pattern with a red roof made by the Royal Winton Grimwades pottery in Staffordshire, England. The British registry mark dates it to 1937. The biscuit jar measures 7 inches high not including the handle by 4.5 inches long by 4 inches wide. It has the original rattan handle which attaches over 2 finials that look like lanterns. The hand painted design is one of the best I've seen and the cookie jar is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restorations. Absolutely beautiful and so collectible. Shipping in the US by USPS priority insured with tracking is $18.00.
