Circa: 1854 Condition: very good Size: 3 inches high and 3.5 inches in diameter
This is a wonderful antique victorian christening or commemorative ironstone mug that I brought home from England recently. The mug bears the victorian inscription Charles Kirby 1854 and was either a christening or commemorative mug. The mug is 3 inches high and 3.5 inches and is an almost luster green with gold trim. It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks but does have some gold wear. Considering the age--not surprising! A fun piece. Shipping in the US by USPS priority insured is $9.50.
