This is a wonderful biscuit jar, cookie jar or cracker jar in the Blue Willow pattern made around 1900 by the Morijama or Morimama company of Japan. The biscuit barrel measures 6 inches high and is 7.5 inches in diameter. It has it's original wooden lid and rattan handle. There are no chips or cracks, but the rattan handle has been repaired at some time. There is some overall tiny crazing and discoloration on the bottom which can be soaked out. It is neat to find a piece this old with no chips or cracks. A decorative useful as well as decorative piece. Shipping in the US by USPS priority insured with tracking is $16.00
