This is a great porcelain fairing or mid victorian carnival prize showing a couple with a baby up at 3 o'clock in the morning. Ah parenthood! The hand painted fairing measures 3.25 inches long by 3 inches high by 2 inches wide. It has a typical victorian script title. It bears impressed marks and a number or initial on the bottom which is normal for the older pieces. It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks and very good paint condition. Not bad for 150 years old! A wonderful collector's piece. These pieces are called fairings because they were usually won at traveling fairs or carnivals or bought as souvenirs in the 1800s. Shipping in the US by USPS priority insured with tracking is $9.50.
