This is a bit of a novelty as far as Shelley China, England is concerned. This bone china cream or creamer and sugar basin or bowl was apparently bought as a blank set from Shelley China and then an amateur china painter, A. Pim.H. decorated the blanks with hand painted flowers and gold trim. The sugar basin is marked with the Shelley mark for 1945-1966 but the creamer is unmarked. The cream jug is 2.5 inches high and the sugar bowl is 2 inches high by 3 inches in diameter. I bought them in England so assume it is an English painter. They are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. A very fun set. Shipping in the US by USPS priority insured. |
