This is a wonderful teacup and saucer set made by Spode Copeland potteries of England. The tea cup and saucer has the British Registry date for the pattern for 1919 and the mark dates it 1918-1928. The cup is 2.25 inches high by 3.75 inches in diameter and the saucer is 5.75 inches in diameter. The set is of embossed creamware and features brown transfer designs that were then hand painted. The designs include a gorgeous basket of flowers and cute little bird vignettes. There is a chain like border as well. The pattern number is 2/7199 or maybe 7144. The set is in very good condition with no chips or cracks and only the tiniest manufacturers bubble on the saucer rim This set is a wonderful piece of workmanship.
