This is an ironstone dessert or salad plate, measuring 6.75 inches square in the Olde Avon Dale pattern of hand coloring over brown transfer or transferware made by J and G Meakin of Staffordshire, England 1920-1930s. The plate is in very good condition with no chips or cracks but does have some utensil marks from use. A very nostalgic landscape scene. Neat.
