This is a great vintage darning mushroom we brought back from England last trip. This wooden or treen mahogany (I think) darner measures 4.25 inches long by 2.5 inches in diameter with a turned handle with a painted line around the head and dates from the 1900-1920. There is a pencil price of twopence underneath. It has great patina and I love the use scars on it. The only flaw is a small chip from an inclusion of a knot on the handle. A great piece and very collectible. Shipping in the US by USPS priority insured is $7.60.
