This is a set of 6 vintage printed hand embroidered 8 by 10 inch pieces I bought in England. Each piece of linen dish or tea towel type fabric is embroidered with playful cats illustrating 6 rhyming words: soon, moon, croon, honeymoon, june and spoon. I don't know if they were cut off existing tea towels or were done intending to be made into a quilt but they are really cute and well done. They were made in the 1920-1930s and are in very good condition although they could use a wash. Cute! Shipping in the US by USPS priority insured is $7.60. |
