This is a beaker, glass or cup that was made by Royal Wintonia, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire (a name used by Royal Winton Grimwades only for these coronation commemoratives) to commemorate the coronation of King George V and Queen Mary of England in 1911. These are the grandparents of Queen Elizabeth II. It has lovely full color portraits of the monarchs and a crown and the back has the words to God Save The King (the tune of My Country 'Tis Of Thee for Yanks) and is in excellent condition. There are no cracks or restorations and one tiny fleabite on Mary's face. Shipping in the US by USPS priority insured is $10.40. |
