This is a wonderful tobacco jar with lid made by Royal Doulton, England in 1902 in the Silicon line of stoneware with applied rosettes and the pattern X-5387. The pattern was used with different color combinations from 1895-1902 but the Royal Doulton mark with the Royal added only started in 1902. The tobacco jar is in very good condition with only one minor part of a rosette missing. A wonderful piece of tobacciana that is very decorative and collectible.
