This is a neat hand faceted English crystal knife rest shaped like a barbell I brought home recently made in England 1890-1910. The crystal knife rest measures 1.5 inches high by 5 inches long and is in very good condition with 2 minor flaws I couldn't photo. Knife rests were developed to keep your knife from dirtying the tablecloth at meals and is a great decorating trend today.
