This is an antique flow blue transfer or transferware plate made by Burgess and Leigh, Ltd. Burslem, Staffordshire England between 1906-1912. The plate is 8.85 inches in diameter and has a registry mark for the pattern called Vermont dates from 1896. The semi porcelain floral border flow blue dinner plate is in very good +++ condition with light utensil marks, some age crazing and one small chip at the back of the rim which is not visible from the front. A beautiful and collectible design statement. |
