This is an antique Edwardian era lapel or chatelaine pocket made 1880-1910. The marked 800 silver watch case was made in Germany, the movement is Swiss but it was made to be sold in England.

The pretty small pocket watch, lapel watch, fob watch, chatelaine watch with half hunter case measures 1.25 inches in diameter and is engine engraved and has a cartouche with no monogram.

The porcelain dial has blue enamel Roman numerals with raised gold spots.

The marks are 0800 for continental silver, a lion and crown & crescent German 800 mark, the Swiss 4065 grouse mark and Cylindre 10 Rubis meaning the movement has 10 Rubies and is run pin set. The crystal is original with no scratches.

The pretty watch is not running and has a broken balance staff. Would make a fabulous pendant, or as a brooch on a lapel watch pin. It is just beautiful!

The pretty watch is not running and has a broken balance staff and is sold as is.
