Royal Air Force RAF WWII Silk Tea Cozy England Vintage 1940s Padding removed
This is a hand made and unfinished vintage blue silk tea cosy or cozy with a finely hand embroidered RAF or Royal Air Force emblem and motto Per Ardua Ad Astra or Through Adversity To The Stars.
The lining is red silk and the cozy has had the padding removed at some time for washing or replacing sometime, and not replaced.
The historic World War II RAF tea cozy measures 10 inches high by 14.5 inches wide.
The tea cozy is in very good condition and was made 1930-1940s.
A piece of militaria or history as well as decorative and useful.
