This is a lovely hand painted over brown transferware Victorian era teacup trio consisting of cup, saucer and plate made in England by Wm. Hudson of Longton, Staffordshire England 1892-1905 in a color grouping and style usually called Imari.

Imari became popular with the influence of Japanese ceramics during the early 19th century.

The colorful cup and saucer with matching plate features flow blue, rust and green hand painted onto a brown floral stylized design transfer with gold trim on a molded cup, saucer and plate.

The Victorian to Edwardian teacup trio is in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or restorations but does a minor bit of gold wear. A lovely set.
