Muffineer Sterling Silver Top Sugar Shaker Lead Crystal 1962 Sugar Caster English Hallmarked

This is an English hallmarked sterling silver top crystal sugar shaker, muffineer or sugar caster made in the 1962 by Broadway & Co. Birmingham England.

The gothic tower top sugar shaker measures 6.75 inches high and is 2.75 inches in diameter. The lid is sterling silver and has cut outs in the shape of fleur d' lis.

The muffineer is in excellent used vintage condition. 

Sugar shakers or muffineers were used by the victorians to shake crushed or powdered sugar on their muffins or crumpets at tea. Neat!
