This is a romantic Staffordshire blue transfer or transferware luncheon plate in the Siam pattern made by J. Clementson, England 1850-1864.
The antique mid Victorian plate has an oriental landscape pattern with border vignettes and measures 8.25 inches in diameter.
The plate is in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips or cracks but does have some use marks and the usual mineral kiln dust specks from firing which is expected in items of this age.
A wonderful piece of victoriana and romantic Staffordshire transferware.
