Shelley Eastern Star Cup And Saucer Pole Star New Cambridge Shape 1940s
This is an unusual cup and saucer by Shelley China, England with the symbols of the Masonic women's organization the Order Of The Eastern Star.
The basic pattern on the cup is, fittingly, a pattern called Pole Star, or occasionally Snow Crystals, on the New Cambridge shape with gold trim.
The cup is 3 inches high and the saucer measures 5.75 inches in diameter.
The bone china cup and saucer was made 1940-1966 and is in excellent used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or wear.
Shelley was known for manufacturing high end china wear for organizations and souvenirs as well as an extensive business in china and dinnerware.
A lovely set in an unusual pattern.
