This is a very pretty Rosina, England British royal memorabilia cup and saucer commemorating the coronation in 1953 of Queen Elizabeth II of England with a pretty pattern featuring hand colored flowers representing the nations of the United Kingdom as well as a great photograph.

The bone china pedestal cup measures 2 inches high by 3.75 inches in diameter and the saucer is 5.5 inches in diameter.

The design features the Queen's famous Anthony Armstrong-Jones portrait photo with hand colored on sepia transfer flowers representing the nations of the United Kingdom are around the portrait. The same is on the saucer.

Both pieces have gold trim.

The royal memorabilia set is in excellent used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or wear. There is a very tiny speck on the photo of the transfer made during manufacturing as seen in the photos.

The other interesting thing is the cup had apparently been made and marked before it was used for the coronation design as the mark changed just after the death of Queen Elizabeth's father in 1952. The saucer has the later mark so was made a bit later.  Coronation items were made from the date of George VI's death in 1952 until the coronation in 1953.

A lovely set for an historic occasion.
