This is an extremely rare patriotic commemorative teacup trio made in 1914 by Royal Albert Crown China, England at the end of the European War that is now known as WWI, World War I.

The cup measures 2.85 inches high, the saucer is 5.5 in diameter and the plate is 6.85 in diameter. The design has the motto No Price Can Be To High When Honour And Freedom Are At Stake.

The front has the British shield and the flags of the allies, including Japan who became one of the main adversaries of WWII. The flags of Belgium, France, Russia and Japan are represented. The color accents are hand applied enamel paint.

The teacup trio is in very good ++ used vintage condition with 1 small chip on the cup rim and some gold trim loss.

But these pieces are so rare and are so collectible it really doesn't matter. A wonderful piece of history.
