Crystal Barbell Kniferest Edwardian Carving Rest Large Faceted Barbell 1980s

This is a lovely faceted English crystal large carving kniferest or cutlery holder shaped like a barbell I brought home recently made in England 1900-1910 during the Edwardian era.

The crystal master knife rest measures 1.75 inches in diameter at the ends by 5 inches long and is in excellent used vintage condition with the tiniest fleabite on one end point.

Knife rests were developed to keep your knife from dirtying the tablecloth at meals and is a great decorating trend today.
