This is a Wedgwood, England 1895-1910 fabulous antique dark blue jasper or jasperware biscuit dip jar, biscuit barrel, cracker jar or cookie jar.
The biscuit barrel is of jasper dip with classical design called Sacrifice Figures and silver plated fittings.
The biscuit jar is in the Globe shape and measures 5.5 inches in diameter by 9 inches high including the handle.
The marks are WEDGWOOD and Made In ENGLAND.
The jasperware dip biscuit barrel in in very good ++ used vintage condition with no cracks or restorations and the only flaws are only 2 tiny white specks, 1 tiny bottom rim chip and 2 line dents on the silver jar rim but are barely seen.
The lid is marked but unreadable. A wonderful and decorative piece.
