Biscuit Barrel Blue Jasperware Dip Wedgwood Offering To Peace 1880s
This is a fabulous antique jasper or jasperware biscuit jar, biscuit barrel, cracker jar or cookie jar made by Wedgwood, England 1880-1891.
The biscuit jar is of rare light blue jasperware dip in the Offering To Peace design with silverplated EPNS fittings, lid and handle.
The biscuit jar is in the Globe or Barrel shape and measures 6.5 inches in diameter by 9.5 inches high including the handle and 6.5 inches high to the top of the finial.
The marks are impressed WEDGWOOD and ENGLAND.
The jasperware barrel in in very good +++ used vintage condition with no cracks, chips or restorations. The only flaw a bit of discoloring on the metal rim edge.
A wonderful and decorative piece.
