This is an art deco pink Roses, birds and black bands chintz octagonal lunch or luncheon plate from 1929-1940 in the Roseland pattern made Crown Ducal, England with gold trim.

The vintage and stylish 8 sided chintz luncheon plate measures 8.5 inches in diameter, with the pretty pink roses on a matte black border encircling a fabulous chintz of fantastic birds, flowers berries and more roses with gold trim and is pattern number 559.

The Roseland Chintz plate is in very good +++ condition with no chips or cracks, and only the most minor signs of gold wear.

This pattern is not often seen, but was very popular in the 1930s when it was adapted from the Ivory Chintz pattern with roses added around the black border and named Roseland, and they perfectly complement each other.

Stylish dining assured.

We have a number of items in both patterns.
