This is a lovely vintage ladies ring made of 14k gold or 14kt gold with a genuine marquise cut Australian White or Milky Opal with the color in unusual colorful striations that make me think of the Northern Lights I have seen in Alaska.
The opal measures approximately 5/8 of an inch long by 5/16 of an inch wide or 15mm by 7mm.
The ring made in the USA in the 1970s and has a wonderfully elegant Modern Flair setting.
Opals are the October birthstone.
The ring is a size 6 3/4 which could be easily sized by any reputable jeweler. Very pretty! The pretty ring is from a large estate lot.
