This is an original antique L. &. N. W., London & North West Rail Road real photo divided back postcard titled Turbine Steamship "Princess Maud" Stranraer & Larne Service shortest sea passage between England & Ireland.  

London and North Western Railway (LNWR, L&NWR) was a railway company of the United Kingdom which existed between 1846 and 1922. 

The Victorian era photo postcard shows the steamship Princess Maud at sea. The postcard is unused, part of the Royal Mail Route postcard series Magnificent Turbine Steamers and has only a bit of corner scuffing.
