Coronation Cup Only 1937 King George VI Queen Elizabeth II Princesses Royal Souvenir Teacup
This is an orphan coronation teacup made for the coronation of King George VI and Elizabeth, parents of Queen Elizabeth II of England in 1937 by an unknown maker.
The cup measures 2.75 inches high and and has very good sepia photographs of the king and queen with flags and symbols on the front, the Princess Elizabeth inside the cup and on the back is younger sister Princess Margaret.
The cup is in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips or cracks. There is a small decal flaw on Princess Margaret that was made during the manufacturing process and is under the glaze.
A shipment of cups and saucers from England arrived damaged, and this is one of them. Alas...hopefully you have the saucer...
