This is a lovely porcelain Royal Worcester, England egg coddler in a standard or single size in the Palmyra pattern, which isn't seen very often.
The egg coddler was made in the 1950-1960s.
The egg coddler or egg cooker measures 3.5 inches high to the top ring, 2.5 to the top of the jar not including the ring by 2.25 in diameter and features a pretty stylized or abstract Jacobean florals.
This coddler actually looks as if it were never used and is in excellent used vintage condition.
Coddlers cook your eggs or leftovers in boiling water.
