This is a bank check or cheque drawn on the Bradford Old Bank, Bradford England from the account of the North Bierley Local Board payable to Ezra Pearson for 12 pounds, 15 shillings and 2 pence on March 28, 1894 and cashed on April 5, 1894.
The cheque measures 4.5 inches high by 8.5 inches wide and has embossed one penny tax stamp as well as 4 board member signatures.
The cheque is endorsed on the back Ezra Pearson. The check or cheque is in very good condition, with 1 tiny corner missing, 1 tiny triangle missing from one edge and 3 top edge tears of about 1/4 each each as seen in the photos.
